What Is Naturalization?
Naturalization is the legal process by which a foreign national who holds a U.S. Green Card becomes a U.S. citizen. It is the final milestone in the immigration journey, conferring the right to vote, hold a U.S. passport, and enjoy the full protections of citizenship.
The application (Form N-400) requires careful documentation, a thorough review of your background, an English language and civics test, and an interview with a USCIS officer. Our team ensures your application is accurate, complete, and submitted correctly.
General Eligibility Requirements
You have been a lawful permanent resident for at least 5 years (3 years if married to a U.S. citizen)
You have lived continuously in the U.S. for the required period
You have been physically present in the U.S. for at least half the required time
You can read, write, and speak basic English
You are a person of good moral character
You are willing to take the Oath of Allegiance
Note: Exceptions and special provisions exist for military members, certain children of U.S. citizens, and individuals with disabilities. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
